A case of sparganosis which caused epididymitis

Abstract
|
|
|
Sparganosis is a parasitic infection caused by spargana, plerocercoid larvae of several species of diphyllobothriid tape worms.
We experienced a 35 years old man who was suffered from adult thumb-tip sized, -non tender mass in the left scrotum. During,the.epididymectomy, the mass which was whitish yellow colored sparganum measuring about 12cm in length, 0.5cm in width, 0.4cm in thickness could be extracted, -so we r >ported this case with a brief review of the literatures.
